The mission of the AuSHS is to promote excellence in Australian Horticultural Science through the representation and development of the professional interests of members, the encouragement of innovation, science and technology in horticulture and the development of strong links to kindred associations both national and international.

Membership of the society is currently FREE, and open to any person, institution or company whose interests comply with the objectives and values of the Society.
