The aim of FOH2018 is to promote and enhance Australian horticultural science and industry. Future of Horticulture 2018 will focus on a variety of aspects relating to the future of horticulture in Australia including innovation, precision agriculture, protected cropping, plant breeding and new crops.

The event structure will provide presentations from leading researchers around the country as well as short speed update presentations, regional updates, an award for best student presentation  and a panel discussion to provide a snapshot of current and future horticultural research in Australia.

The purpose of the event is to share and promote horticultural research and the profession of horticulture; to encourage young and early career scientists and to provide networking opportunities for our members. The event will foster and raise the profession of horticultural science and promote AuSHS. We hope the Future of Horticulture will become an annual occurrence to promote and enhance Australian horticultural science and industry.
