The aim of FOH2019 is to promote and enhance Australian horticultural science and industry. FOH2019 will again focus on a variety of aspects relating to the future of horticulture in Australia including innovation, precision agriculture and engaging with the next generation.

The event structure will provide presentations from leading researchers around the country as well as short speed update presentations, regional updates, an award for best student presentation and a panel discussion to provide a snapshot of current and future horticultural research in Australia.

The purpose of the event is to share and promote horticultural research and the profession of horticulture; to encourage young and early career scientists and to provide networking opportunities for our members. The event will foster and raise the profession of horticultural science and promote AuSHS.

Currently in its 2nd year the Future of Horticulture aims to be held annually to promote and enhance Australian horticultural science and industry.

The complimentary event is open to members and non-members of AuSHS. While attendance at Hort Connections is not compulsory to attend the Future of Horticulture 2019, all delegates registering to attend FoH2019 are strongly encouraged to also register to attend Hort Connections by clicking HERE.
